Warren V. "Pete" Musser
Mr. Musser is the founder and CEO of The Musser Group, a private equity firm based
in Wayne, Pennsylvania which he started in 2001 after a 50+ year career as a
legendary investor spanning 500 companies and nearly $10 billion in capital raised.
Mr. Musser is the founder and former CEO and Chairman of Safeguard Scientifics,
Inc., a company that builds value in high-growth, revenue-stage information
technology and life sciences businesses. He was a founding investor of QVC, Novell,
Compucom Systems, Cambridge Technology Partners, and Internet Capital Group, among
hundreds of other high growth companies. Mr. Musser is currently on the board of
Nutrisystems, Inc., Internet Capital Group, Inc., Health Benefits Direct Corporation
and Health Advocate, and serves as Chairman of Telkonet, Inc; Infologix Inc; and
Epitome Systems, Inc. Mr. Musser serves on a variety of civic and charitable boards,
including as Co-Chairman of the Eastern Technology Council, Chairman of Economics PA
and Vice Chairman of the National Center for the American Revolution.

Michael M. Carter
Michael M. Carter is Managing Director of The Musser Group, where he works with entrepreneurs to help finance, structure, and build growth companies. Mike is a former software and IT Services entrepreneur and executive. Mike is founder and former CEO of Dashboard Systems, sold to Cisco Systems funded CXO Systems. Prior to founding Dashboard Systems, Mike founded and was CEO of Ajunto, the first online marketplace for the IT Industry and now part of Web Services software leader SOA Software, where Mike served as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer following the acquisition in 2001. Carter was Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer for US Interactive and helped take the company public as the youngest Executive Officer of any Safeguard Scientifics funded public company. Carter began his career in client-server technology with Cambridge Technology Partners working in a variety of leadership roles in consulting, business development, and marketing. Carter holds a B.S. and M.S. from Saint Joseph's University. Mike serves on various boards including the Board of Visitors for the Moorestown Friends School; the board of The Musser Foundation; the board of the Innovations Committee for The United Way of Pennsyvania; and on the Philadelphia Library technology board. Additionally Mike serves as Co-Chairman and founder of DirectorForce, the leading OnDemand Software company for Directors and Boards, and board member for D&O Direct and College Fanz, Inc.

Jim Ounsworth
Jim Ounsworth was EVP and General Counsel of Safeguard Scientifics, Inc. During Jim's tenure at Safeguard, the company maintained and developed over 30 partnership companies (companies in which SFE had an equity investment) as well as interests in a number of venture capital funds. While at Safeguard Jim refined and implemented the SFE rights offering program in which shareholders of SFE could participate in initial public offerings (IPOs) by obtaining the first right to buy shares offered by partner companies in an IPO. He also completed 7 initial public offerings using the rights offering program, which transferred millions of dollars in stock value to SFE shareholders. He also structured and negotiated numerous venture capital investments for SFE and its affiliated venture capital funds; structured and negotiated numerous venture capital funds, which raised over $1billion to invest in startup and developing companies; served as a director and officer of various SFE partner companies; helped manage these companies; provided advice for investments made by SFE and its partner companies. He was a partner at Pepper Hamilton where he structured and negotiated numerous mergers and acquisitions, including the acquisition of two railroads that presently operate in South Dakota and Mississippi, an aluminum plant of Alcoa Aluminum Company, and various manufacturing plants for production of motors and air conditioners. Jim also served in the US Navy as a naval officer primarily in the engineering department of several ships, including two missile nuclear submarines. Jim holds a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law, Charlottesville, VA (1975), an Engineer Qualification from the US Navy Nuclear Power School (1966), and a BS from the US Naval Academy, Annapolis, MD (1964).

Steve Andriole
Dr. Steve Andriole is a partner in the Musser Consulting Group. Dr. Andriole's career has focused on the development, application and management of information technology and analytical methodology to complex business problems, as well as the application of that expertise to technology investing, principally in early stage technology companies. Steve is a Managing Director of the Musser Consulting Group. Steve was the Director of the Cybernetics Technology Office of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). He was also the Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President for Technology Strategy at CIGNA Corporation. He founded International Information Systems (IIS), Inc., TechVestCo, Inc., and Ascendigm, LLC. He was the Chief Technology Officer and a Senior Vice President at Safeguard Scientifics, Inc. where he was responsible for identifying technology trends and translating that insight into the Safeguard investment strategy. Some of his 30 books include Interactive Computer-Based Systems Design and Development (Petrocelli Books, Inc., 1983), Microcomputer Decision Support Systems (QED Information Sciences, Inc., 1985), Applications in Artificial Intelligence (Petrocelli Books, Inc., 1986), Information System Design Principles for the 90s (AFCEA International Press, 1990), the Sourcebook of Applied Artificial Intelligence (McGraw-Hill, 1992), a (co-authored with Len Adelman) book on user interface technology for Lawrence Erlbaum Associates, Inc. entitled Cognitive Systems Engineering (1995) and a book for McGraw-Hill entitled Managing Systems Requirements: Methods, Tools & Cases (1996). He has recently published articles in the Communications of the ACM, the Journal of Information Technology Education, Datamation and the Cutter IT Journal. His most recent book is The 2nd Digital Revolution (IGI Publishing, 2005). Overall, he has published over 200 articles and papers. Steve received his BA from LaSalle University in 1971 and his Masters and Doctorate degrees from the University of Maryland in 1973 and 1974. His masters and doctoral work was supported by a National Defense Education Act fellowship and DARPA. In 2000, he received an honorary doctorate from LaSalle University.

Thomas C. Lynch
Mr. Lynch, a retired naval officer, has served as Senior Vice
President of The Staubach Company, a real estate advisory firm, since 2001. Mr.
Lynch previously held a number of executive positions at Safeguard Scientifics,
Inc., including Senior Vice President. Prior to his entering into joining the
business arena, Mr. Lynch had a decorated 31-year naval career, retiring with the
rank of Rear Admiral. A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, Mr. Lynch's positions
included Chief, Navy Legislative Affairs; Commander of the Eisenhower Battle Group
during Operation Desert Shield; Superintendent of the U.S. Naval Academy from 1991
to 1994 and Director of the Navy Staff at the Pentagon from 1994 to 1995. Mr. Lynch
was also the captain of the 1963 Navy Cotton Bowl team with Roger Staubach, its
Heisman winning Quarterback.
